dc comics superman clash super titans In many genres, there are always those wish lists of dream confrontations. Those are clashes of truly epic proportions that fans want to see one day that may or may not happen. Many do not, due to a large number of assorted reasons. Once in a while, however, you get to see what a dream match might be like, like the time a Miami boxing promoter who got two of the greatest champions of all time to make a movie about a dream match between them.

marvel comics incredible hulk clash super titans Over the years in the world of comics, there have been wishes that the heroes of the DC and Marvel Universes would meet, to see who is the greatest of the group. There have been occasions when the two universes have crossed over with each other, one notable instance in 1996 which resulted in the brief Amalgam line of comics where one hero in each universe were combined to make a new character.

Recently, I was surfing through YouTube, checking out some videos when one came to my attention and literally grabbed it in a full nelson! The creator of this video, using computer animation, has taken two absolute juggernauts of the comic book world, and set them up for what WWE commentator Jim Ross would call, “a slobber knocker.”

In one corner was the champion of truth, justice, and the American way, Superman from DC Comics. In the other corner was the mean green machine of the Marvel Universe, the Incredible Hulk. Their battle ground in out in the desert, thankfully to prevent innocents being injured. Here is the brief introduction to the video.

As you can see, Hulk is in his usual wonderfully bad mood, and Superman is not in a mood to play around. The video’s creator released what he calls part 1 of this epic dream match encounter, and it truly lives up to it’s billing. Check it out!

The creator did a great job on the CGI work. While it is obviously CGI, it is not totally cartoonish as such creations can be (for example the CGI work in the Syfy movie, “The Immortal Voyage of Captain Drake”). The work was extremely well done, and the punching and action in the video looks real enough to hurt!

The video’s creator, a YouTube user called Mhabjan, says on his YouTube channel page that he is working on the next part. If you are like me, you are probably looking forward to seeing it and seeing what happens in the next round of this ultra heavyweight slug fest!
